Database Manager
The Hepsia Control Panel features a full-featured database management GUI, which will grant you complete authority over your databases. You can easily set up brand new MySQL and PostgreSQL databases and administer them via the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin tools respectively.
An Easy-to-Use Interface
With the Database Manager user interface, you can set up a new database in a matter of seconds - just specify its name and that's all. You will notice a list of all your DBs and their corresponding sizes. You will be able to edit passwords, to create backup files and to even log into the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin software tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is quite essential to make regular backups of your databases to protect your website content and to abstain from any eventual data loss. With the Database Manager interface, creating a database backup file is extremely easy. Just press the Backup button next to the database you wish to back up and you will be immediately taken to the File Manager from where you can download your freshly created database backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PgSQL and/or MySQL DBs that you can create varies based on the hosting package that you have ordered. While MySQL is a very popular database management system employed by millions of users all around the globe, PostgreSQL is considered a more innovative database management system and is primarily used by technically capable webmasters. You can administer your MySQL databases through the phpMyAdmin tool, whereas PostgreSQL databases can be administered through the phpPgAdmin tool.
InnoDB Support
InnoDB is the leading transactional storage engine for the MySQL database management system, which is aimed at securing users' data and at increasing multi-user concurrency and performance. When you wish to create a new DB table, simply log into the Hepsia Control Panel-incorporated phpMyAdmin database management tool and select the InnoDB database engine from the list of available storage engines.
More Features
Hepsia's Database Manager also contains detailed statistics about your databases, including the number of hourly queries. This will give you an idea of how much load is created over a specific period.
